rescueME MOB1 is the world's smallest AIS MOB emergency transmitter with integrated DSC.

MOB1 is compatible with most inflatable life jackets and is made to be installed in the life jacket and is activated automatically when the vest is inflated. It then sends its first emergency message within 15 seconds. The integrated turn signal light provides maximum visibility in low light. 

MOB1 is made to communicate with the ships nearby. In an emergency, rescueME MOB1 provides two methods of quickly communicating your position with a few meters accuracy back to the ship, plus visual indication via the built-in turn signal. 

When MOB1 is activated, it sends an alarm to all AIS receivers and connected screens nearby. The integrated GPS allows an exact position to be sent to ships and others who can assist. Another function with MOB1 is the ability to activate a DSC alarm on your ship's VHF, which makes the crew aware of the situation.  Most modern plotters connected with an AIS and DSC VHF can receive MOB message. Older systems can sometimes not display the symbol correctly. In such cases, check and update the software. To alert the rescue service, there is an alternative product, rescueME PLB1, which communicates directly with a SAR satellite network
