Lifejacket Airsafe A290

The Airsafe A-190 Life Jacket is based on the TSO approved life preserver. It comes with a water activated safety light, two separate inflation valves and two CO2 cartridges allowing easy single-handed operation. Designed for comfort, the jacket is sewn into a protective Cordura nylon valise with a flame proof filling material, allowing a flight helmet to be worn without obstruction or straining the wearer's neck. The A-290 is easily donned and removed without having to pull it over the head and comes with a 40 mm waist strap with a quick release buckle. Optional equipment include one or two removable pockets for signal flares or an emergency locator transmitter (ELT).

Users include Swedish Coast Guard Flight Division, Swedish Police Air Support Unit, Swedish Armed Forces, Patria Helicopters and Saab Nyge Aero.
